we went to vegas IN FEBRUARY
for the 5th annual punk rock bowling tournament and did pretty
well....out of 106 teams, we came in 6th place!!! not too bad but
that leaves room for improvement for next year....we beat THE FORGOTTEN in our
final game for 6th place.....for official standings click below..

the BODIES : VIDEO/DVD......
yep, you read that right...a new video/dvd is
in the works. and with great help from MATT from THE SHOWOFFS (great new band),
this will actually become a reality....most of the footage has been assembled
and is now being sifted through by yours truly to select what is going to be
included on the video. basically it will be different songs from the different
videotaped shows available.....sound and video quality will vary of course
depending on who and where the video was shot....this will be an official RADIO
RECORDS release.....thats all on this subject for now as i need to go and get
back to the painful task of watching all these videos.....
THE TRENDS
I have been getting a lot of inquiries about THE TRENDS, so let me divulge
the info. The new band THE TRENDS is a BODIES side project. It is made up of the music playing
members of THE BODIES (me/johnny-guitar, scott-bass, harley drums,
morgan-guitar) and features Chris, the singer from THE SHIFTERS on vocals. So
far we have recorded seven songs. RADIO RECORDS is going to be releasing a 2 song 7" in the next month
or so. The remaining songs are OUT NOW!!! (as of 2/1/01) on a 4 band cd. It is
released on OUTSIDER RECORDS and is entitled "american fight club".
The other 3 bands on this cd are: HUDSON FALCONS, THE AUTHORITY &
CALLAGHAN. Each band contributed from 5-8 songs each. So there is over 20 songs
on here w/ 6 of them from us (THE TRENDS). I haven’t heard the other bands songs yet, cause it just
came out and we havent got our copies yet. So check us out if it sounds like an
interesting combo to you. The songs are actually very similar to THE BODIES
songs. cause we only no how to play one song in different variations.... so
anyone who is interested go to OUTSIDER RECORDS and ask for THE TRENDS.

Oil! has a full length cd coming
out very soon.....Its called THE GLORY OF HONOR and will be coming out of
europe very soon. The vinyl version will be released later on NOMA BEACH
RECORDS....also...
a new release from NOMA BEACH
is a 7”!.....the release is called RED WHITE AND BOOTS... it has a limited
version on colored vinyl available, so what are you wasting your time on this
