Oregon continues to pump out amazing band after amazing band. Coming out of the Portland/Salem area is the latest in a long line of great new bands – THE FUNHOUSE STRIPPERS….Imagine a cross between a Radios Appear-era RADIO BIRDMAN, THE SHIFTERS and CHUCK BERRY. For fans of THE SHIFTERS, this band contains the drummer and guitarist of the aforementioned powerhouse band coupled with members of previous bands such as the Trust Fund Babies, The Shrinks, the Widgets, Eddie Machete & The Hacks, the Mopps, the Puritans, the Undefeated and Surrender Dorothy. The songs on this CD are high-energy punk ROCK N ROLL blasts that feature great vocals that sound like Rob Younger (RADIO BIRDMAN) coupled with great female backing vocals. The music is up-tempo SHIFTERS-style punk rock n roll that features some well placed piano (NOT KEYBOARDS!)
