Since 1991,
Sonoma Valley Computer Group (SVCG) has been a leader in
the advancement of educating the community in computer technology
and telecommunications. Today the Sonoma Valley Computer Group
is a major contributor and supporter of computer education; in
particular, SVCG has had an incredible impact on members' interest
in the Internet. |
|
SVCG, formerly called Valley of the Moon Computer Users Group (VOMCUG) originated with a handful of folks interested in sharing with the community their knowledge and love for computers in Sonoma. With no budget and minimal support, they set about creating a dynamic group of hard-working computer enthusiasts.
SVCG offers monthly meetings where guest speakers
talk about a variety of topics ranging from internet, email,
how-to get connected; genealogy; financial management; graphics
design; word processing, page layout and presentation programs;
to how to put a newsletter together, to name a few. Meetings
start at 10AM and run until 11:30AM.
- Guests welcome.
- Members, $20 individual/$30 family annual dues
