Members of the Board of Directors

Mama Mia: Mama Mia is a wonderful being. She’s wealthy enough to not care about what anyone thinks – and acts it. She’s known practically everyone of importance over the last few hundred years (according to her) and carries a gold mine of knowledge in her beautiful head. She is, of course, ageless. Mama Mia is never at a loss for words and is famous for speaking her mind.

Sylvester: Sylvester is famous – making his fortune as a 'toon many years ago. He is now best known as the cat who woke up one day finding himself artificially intelligent. He turns this intelligence toward matters scientific and can be counted upon to approach any problem in a uniquely artificially intelligent way. He attributes his red nose to the days when he was a "nipper" although he has been in (Cat) Nippers Anonymous for many years.

Dave Pitzer: Dave is "celebrating" his fifty-fifth birthday this year. To follow him around for a week or so he acts as though he were retired. Actually he teaches AutoCAD courses at Santa Rosa Junior College two or three times a week, write articles and reviews for two Computer Aided Design (CAD) magazines and does other technical writing on a freelance basis. He is also an avid actor in local community theater.

Dave is a 1965 graduate of The Citadel, spent five years in the Air Force during the Viet Nam years and has also served as a classical music "disc-jockey" on FM radio stations in the Portland, OR, and San Francisco Bay area. Dave can be reached via EMail at dpitzer@sonic.net.

Ron LaFon: Ron holds degrees in Expressive Arts and Psychology, and is senior editor for Strawberry Press scientific publications. He also writes for numerous computer magazines, specializing in Desktop Publishing, Fine Book Production and Digital Imaging. Among his interests are Astronomy, Reading (put it in front of him and he'll read it!), African plants, Orchids, Photography and Gourmet Cooking. He was a former student of Ansel Adams, and has exhibited extensively both here and abroad. Ron can be reached via EMail at sonomaj@vom.com.
