One of the first steps on the road to Cub Scouting is to earn your Bobcat badge. All boys, regardless of what level they join scouting in, must first learn eight items to earn their Bobcat. The Bobcat information is located in the front of your Cub Scout Handbook. Our pack has adopted one of these items to use as a guideline for how we run our pack:

It is not only the Cub Scout motto, it's what we, as leaders, strive to do. We are constantly learning and adapting and trying new ideas to bring the best for Sonoma Valley's scouts.
