  • 3:00 PM - Tue Nov 29th -- Delete any message from Fedex that has a form attached to it. It contains a Malware program.
  • 1:04 PM - Tue Nov 8 -- Phishing attack. Some of our users have recieved a message looking like it is from us asking for password informatiom. The message is not from us and please never give out you password information.
  • 5:30 PM - Fri Oct 14 -- Repairs Completed
  • 4:30 PM - Fri Oct 14 -- Hard drive failure on the Current Webmail Server... Repairs are underway
  • 8:30 PM - Thur Aug 18 -- Repairs Completed...
  • 7:15 PM - Thur Aug 18 -- Our Primary Mail server has lost stopped taking in mail. We are working on it and hope to have it repaired soon.
  • 07:30 PM - Wed Jun 15 -- Almost all DSL have been restored. Please call us if you are still having problems.
  • 05:30 PM - Wed Jun 15 -- We are getting reports by customers that their DSL connections are going up and down. We have confirmed with ATT the outage and are awaiting an ETR from them
  • 04:30 PM - Thu Apr 28 -- Mail to AOL.com is starting to catch up. Should be caught up by 6PM
  • 02:00 PM - Thu Apr 28 -- Mail to AOL.com is being delayed as we have been places on their blacklist due to a customer giving out their password. We are in contact with AOL's tech support.
  • 10:30 AM - Sun Mar 27 -- New Scam -- Subject "VOM Webmail Upgrade Notification" -- Do Not reply... And as always never give out you password!
  • 02:15 PM - Wed Jan 26 -- New Scan do not answer a message with the subject line of " Maintenance schedule, confirm your vom.com account." The message is not from us.
  • 11:38 PM - Sun Jan 16 -- PG& E Completed Repairs
  • 04:05 PM - Sun Jan 16 -- Transformer exploded on the pole outside of our office ( Just replace 1 1/2 months ago.)
  • 05:00 PM - Thu Sept 9 -- Do not open any emails with a subject of " Here your Have"
  • 12:06 PM - Sun Aug 29 -- Mail server Back up
  • 11:43 AM - Sun Aug 29 -- Repairs about 50% Completed
  • 10:30 AM - Sun Aug 29 -- We have had a failure in our primary mail server. We are repairing. ETR 1 hour
  • 09:00 AM - Wed July 28 -- SCAM Alert -- Beware of a message with the subject "Vom Mail" They are trying to get your Email Address and Password. It is not from Vom.Com
  • 04:00 PM - Sun July 18 -- Mail server Restored -- All Systems Working
  • 02:30 PM - Sun July 18 -- Power Restored -- Repairs still continuing on the mail server
  • 09:30 AM - Sun July 18 -- Power Outage -- Running on Generators --Mail Server knocked offline when UPS failed. Repairs under way.
  • 11:00 AM - Sun July 11 -- Mail Server Upgrades Completed
  • 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM Sun July 11 -- Mail server upgrades - Mail will be unavailable during this time.
  • 9:30 AM Wed June 30 -- Shelville Restored
  • 8:30 PM Tuesday Jume 29 -- Most of service restored. Wireless in the Shellville Area is still out. No ETR currently
  • 4:00 PM Tuesday June 29 -- Outage Update -- AT&T Techs have arrived on site
  • 3:00 PM Tuesday June 29 -- Major Outage. We have lost one of our primary AT&T feeds that provides our T1and some of our wireless services. We have a started a ticket and are awaiting information.
  • 8:35 PM Thursday April 22 -- Repairs Completed
  • 7:10 PM Thursday April 22 -- Email users that use S21.vom.com will be offline for emergency repairs for about an hour due to a hard disk failure. We are installing a new drive.
  • 07:00PM Thursday -- Repairs between the Comcast/ATT network have been completed. All systems should be normal now.
  • 10:00AM Thursday -- We have had complaints from Comcast Users that they cannot receive mail but can send mail. We have started tickets with both AT&T and Comcast for a resolution. Users in the mean time can use our Web mail to send and recieve mail.
  • 03:45 Mom 2/1/10 -- ATT&T Reports that repairs have been completed.
  • 11:49 Sun 1/31/10 -- ATT&T reports a backbone router has major issues. You will be able to get to some sites but not others. As of 12:50 there is no estimated time of repair.
  • Mon 12/21/09 -- New SPAM attack with a subject line of Subject: WELCOME TO WEB MAIL!! WE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR MAIL... Remember we will never ask you for your password in an email
  • Sun 12/06/09 -- Schellville Wireless Power Outage PGE expects repairs around 10:PM
  • Sun 11/29/09 -- 8:00AM All Systems are up and running normally
  • Fri 11/27/09 -- 8:00AM Emails services restored. It will take a couple of hours to catch up the mail backlog.
  • Fri 11/27/09 -- 6:30 AM Mail Server update -- Restore about 80% completeted.
  • Sat 11/07/09 --- Another phishing SCAM with a subject line of " Repair Notice ". Please remember do not give your Vom.Com password to anybody!!!!!
  • Do not respond to an e-mail with subject "Acount Upgrade/Maintenance All VOM Users" it is a scam...VOM will never request User/Password info in an unsolicited e-mail.
  • Tues 10/27/09 -- 7:00 -- Server back up. Please report any problems to support@vom.com
  • Tues 10/27/09 -- We have had to repair 2 hard drives in the last few days on the mail server. We have decided to replace the whole box with a new system. Normally we would do this in the early hours of the morning... but because we see more failures happening we have deciced to start the replacement at 6 PM this evening. If all goes as we plan we will be back up by 7 PM.
