Welcome to the City Belt Line. The CBL proudly provides access, to the Pacific
Basin, to all rail transport systems. The City Belt Line serves the San Francisco
Bay Area's modern intermodal terminals and transshipment facilities, as well
as servicing prime industrial areas.
The line is a subsidiary of the North Western Pacific. The NWP Railroad operates through freight service connecting with the BNSF in Eugene, Oregon and with the UP/SP in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our route encompasses the North Western Pacific route to the redwoods. 150 miles of new right of way connects Arcata California and Coquille Point, Oregon. The NWP has purchased the former Southern Pacific's Myrtle Point Line to gain access to the Pacific Northwest via Eugene Oregon.Our right of way impovement plan has been impelmented and plate H equipment speedily travels the NWP to and from the Pacific North West. |
